On the face of it, a cup of coffee, a waiter cleaning a table, a slice of ooey gooey pizza, or some beautifully apointed bedroom may seem to have nothing in common, and to most other photographers that is true…
But not to me.
They all are the catalyst for an experience or event. Each of these subjects have a story to tell and can be the start to an experience. That is why my approach to crafting portraits of each of these seemingly non related subjects is deeply rooted in empathy for those potential experiences.
By putting the viewer at the center of every image I craft, the experience drives the story.
Empathy with the subject and viewer is central to my portraiture, be it food portraiture, cooking portraiture, design, and real estate portraits, or a personal portrait, all are personal moments or adventures to come.
My passions for crafting portraits in the most engaging and empathetic way possible is the heart of every portrait I craft.

Throughout this website you will see these doors. Every door is a story. A story of what is on this side and may be hiding on the other side.
The key to each of these stories is just clicking on a door.
"The most difficult thing for me is a portrait. You have to try and put your camera between the skin of a person and his shirt."
— Henri Cartier-Bresson
