Working
Photography is at times a solitary job. By the very nature of the art form photography requires a lot of introspection and contemplation. Sometimes that isolation can have a tendency to blur one’s own perspective. That loss of perspective focus can be both a good and bad occurrence. Bad in that you can drift from your own passions and ideas, if you let it. Good in that it opens the doors to new questions and answers, if you are open to the exploration.
As I was going about my work recently I took some time to pause and reflect on the work of others and, in a way, my own. The pride and dignity I observed in everyone doing their job was inspiring to me. These are a few images of the people I met as I was pondering.
